Guido Rosati (born in Abruzzo, Italy) moved to Rome in 1970 and studied architecture before transitioning to a career in design. He became well-known for his work creating lamps during the '70s, '80s, and '90s for brands such as FontanaArte, Ve Art, I Tre, Murano Due, and Luxobut. More recently, Rosati began to focus on upholstered furniture, collaborating with a number of respected companies, including Uvet, Flexform, Giovannetti, Sofart, Poltronova, and Arflex. He has also experimented with other areas of design, including creating a hydro-massage bath tub. In addition to his design work, Guido Rosati is currently studying the relationship between the global market and product development and its consequent impact.
