The concept for the Parentesi suspension light was developed by Pio Manzu and brought to fruition by Achille Castiglioni after Manzu's untimely death in 1969. This clever lighting design functions both as floor lamp and ceiling light. It features a bracket-like diffuser support that easily moves vertically along a steel cable that spans the distance of ceiling to floor. This bracket sports an integrated socket for a reflector flood bulb and can be pivoted in various directions allowing the user to direct the light. This bracket is available in several finishes.
