Fabio Calvi (born 1969 in Pavia, Italy) graduated with a degree in architecture in 1996 after studying at the Milan Polytechnic and Brunel University of West London.  He debuted with his own studio in 2004 with the design for the photographer Albert Watson's solo exhibition at the Rotonda della Besana in Milan.  Paolo Brambilla (born 1973 in Lecco, Italy) studied at the Milan Polytechnic and the Polytechnic University of Barcelona and graduated with a degree in in architecture in 1999.  He has taught interior design at the School of Design of the Milan Polytechnic and he has been a councilor of the Milan Order of Architects PPC.  The duo founded Calvi Brambilla in 2006 and since then they have received several awards for their projects and installations.
