Based in Italy, Desalto began in 1990 when the four Orsenigo brothers - heirs of a metalworking family company - imagined a firm that would be more in step with the times and, from the very beginning, called on the cooperation of established as well as up-and-coming designers.  Thirty years later, Desalto is known for its award-winning designs that are underscored by their sophisticated aesthetics and a commitment to technological and materials research and innovation.
