Bjhon sinks are the fruit of an idea that Angelo Mangiarotti actually conceived in 1970 as he was designing a range of furniture in stone. Bjhon is made of marble or stone, or by using an advanced technological material, Cristalplant®. Designed to be used atop a surface, it seamlessly fits into numerous interior applications - always maintaining its sculptural essence. It can also be freely combined with different taps and fittings. Manufactured by Agape.

Angelo Mangiarotti (1921 - 2012) was born in Milan, Italy, and graduated in 1948 with a degree in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano. In the mid 1950s, Mangiarotti spent time in the United States where he met Frank Lloyd Wright, Walter Gropius, Mies van der Rohe, and Konrad Wachsmann. Upon returning to Milan, he opened architectural firm together with Bruno Morassutti. Throughout his lifetime, Mangiarotti was the recipient of numerous awards; his designs have been included in numerous museum collections and exhibitions. He collaborated with several European manufacturers including Agape, Agapecasa, Alessi, Artemide, ColleVilca, Poltrona Frau, Mepra, Porro, and Vistosi.
