Designed by: Angelo Mangiarotti
Manufactured by: Agapecasa
Designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in 1979 and originally produced by Skipper, Italy, the fabulously canted and asymmetrical Eccentrico range includes both coffee and dining table versions – the latter is noted here. Each Eccentrico piece features a marble base and top that uses no traditional joints or clamps. Like Mangiarotti’s other designs, the structural design of Eccentrico involves gravity-based tension between the top and base whereby the base "locks” into a preset position within the top – the associated weight of the top makes for a precision-tight fit, increasing the overall stability of the entire structure. Eccentrico is downright engaging – its distinctive aesthetics having been born from this remarkable structural innovation. Available in several different marbles including white Carrara, black Marquina, green Alpi, gray Carnico, and brown Emperador. Manufactured by Agapecasa.
