Designed by: Angelo Mangiarotti
Manufactured by: Agapecasa
Designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in 1971 and originally produced by Skipper, Italy, the Eros range includes console, coffee, side, and dining tables in various sizes – noted here is the three-legged triangular coffee table with curved corners. All of the Eros pieces feature marble bases and tops that use no traditional joints or clamps. Mangiarotti’s structural design of each piece involves gravity-based tension whereby the truncated-conical section of the base legs "lock” into a preset position within the top – the associated weight of the top makes for a precision-tight fit, increasing the overall stability of the entire structure. Each of the resulting Eros table designs is extraordinarily elegant in its simplicity – its distinctive aesthetics having been born from this remarkable structural innovation. Available in several different marbles including white Carrara, black Marquina, green Alpi, gray Carnico, and brown Emperador. Manufactured by Agapecasa.
