Rivoli served as the tea-table in the living room of Eileen Gray's summer house E 1027. The graceful lightweight that no doubt was used on the terrace when necessary, is a lovingly thought-out, versatile piece of furniture for times of rest and relaxation. Everything is ready to hand; shelves swivel to bring fruit, pastries or sweets within easy reach and the table-top can be extended by raising a side leaf. Originally a tea table with foldable table-top and two swiveling trays. Frame and swivel trays of chrome-plated steel. Table-tops are lacquered in a high-gloss finish and available in several colors.
