The Solitaire floor lamp takes its inspiration from the archetypal tripod floor lamps that permeated midcentury modern interiors. Here, Solitaire has been infused with an elegance associated with its luxe materials – solid brass in various finishes for the base and fabric for its shade. Rather than the expected drum-shaped diffuser that often accompanies a tripod base form, the designer has created a fabulously sculptural lampshade of triangular facets that celebrate and reinforce the geometry of the base.
