As with many of Poletti's designs, the MM8 dining table is an exploration of the interaction of volumes. Here the designer exploits the physical qualities of aluminum. The base consists of two large cylinders that have juxtaposed with a thin-profile top of 8 mm. The striking aesthetic is monolithic underscored with the palpable tension associated with the widely varying volumes of base and top. Available in two sizes - each with a choice of color lacquered finish. Manufactured by Desalto.
