The aesthetic for this extraordinary table lamp design lies in the carefully constructed juxtapositional assemblage of its various elements and their associated materials – shade, frame, and cord. The exposed cord creates a fabulously rhythmic movement within the lamp’s form as it “snakes” its way toward the shade, disappears through the vertical support, and emerges again through the base.
