Design as memory: conceptual simplicity and influences tied to childhood memories inspired the design of the Lee lounge chair and sofa. The solid wood structure is entirely hand-crafted in a choice of woods and finishes. The woven backrest and seat are made of paper rush cord. This old-fashioned but completely natural material with excellent resistance to wear is revived here as a tribute to tradition, with the satisfaction of creating something that will last a lifetime and be passed down to the next generations.
