With the Parker sofa, Antonio Citterio and Flexform continue to reinterpret furnishings that are clearly inspired by tradition. While Parker was both conceptualized and designed with exquisite contemporary sensibility it evokes an immediate sensation of familiarity. The Parker sofa is composed of solid-turned and hand-finished woods. The finely woven material featured on the backrest and armrests is also entirely hand-made. It has a single seat cushion and large, generously padded loose cushions that lean against the backrest that is available in a choice woven cord or cowhide. The resulting juxtaposition of materials within Parker's form is striking. The Parker sofa is available in two sizes. Manufactured by Flexform.
