The Flat Collection was designed in 2008 and became an instant success – so much so that additional pieces continued to be added to this extensive range of outdoor furniture that now includes sofas, sectionals, lounge and dining chairs, chaise longues, dining and bar-height tables, coffee and occasional tables, benches, stools... even atypical outdoor pieces like a rocking chair and a round daybed. Flat's minimalist forms feature slender-profile, well-proportioned frames that are characterized by their sled bases with beautifully articulated, curved corners – the resulting range of furniture is infused with levity. The Flat sectional sofa that is composed of thermo-lacquered, welded aluminum and 100% polyethylene – both are available in several matching finishes. Seat and back cushions are composed of polyurethane foam rubber covered in a removable water-repellent textile that is available in several options. The sofa is designed to be configured with modular elements to produce endless combinations. Protective covers are available separately for an additional charge. Manufactured by Gandia Blasco.
