GAN's Isla Collection of outdoor soft seating and tables marks its first collaboration with Sebastian Herkner. As its name suggests, Isla's irregular forms were inspired by the shapes of several islands in Spain - Arosa, Gemora, and Menorca. Herkner also developed several tables as part of the collection to complement the seating forms. With Isla, Herkner focuses on the engaging interplay of the volumes associated with the back and seating expanses - the elements of each form are further articulated with complementary textiles within an overarching colorway range.
Noted here is the Isla Menorca sofa. It can be used independently or as part of a larger configuration with other Isla seating pieces. Available in 7 color combinations - coral, sand, shell, blue, green, silver, and garnet. Additional square and rectangular loose cushions are also available. Manufactured by GAN.
