From the Greek γαια, meaning "the earth", GEA celebrates the beauty and openness of outdoor living. The GEA coffee table pays homage to geometric rigour. The texture of the carob coloured finish on the steel frames stands out thanks to the adjustable tops to which different sections can be added, chosen by stone oak, a thousand-year old fossil wood sourced from rivers, afrormosia or oriental grey brushed marble. Designer

Chi Wing Lo

Chi Wing Lo (born 1954 in Hong Kong) was raised in Hong Kong and studied architecture at Harvard University, earning a master's degree and winning the best thesis prize in 1988. The designer is well-known for his furniture produced by brands including Giorgetti, a company for which he served as art director from 2004 to 2006. In addition to his commercial furniture design, Chi Wing Lo has worked on projects in major cities around the world, including designing a piece to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of Hong Kong's unification with China. He was nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Prize in Architecture for his Tower-House in Athens in 2009.
