Ira is a classic canopy bed with simple lines that illustrates Chi Wing Lo's masterful manipulation of the juxtaposition of materials - wood, textile, leather, metal - to create engaging aesthetics. Ira's base frame along with the profiles of the surface where the mattress rests are in solid canaletto walnut while the top of the base is in white painted Fiddleback Sycamore. Its canopy frame is in aluminum that has been covered with canaletto walnut and its angular joints are bronze painted metal. The headrest is upholstered in a wide range of fabric or leather options.
