Vivien is an original modular sofa bed with a vintage style, designed exclusively for Milano Bedding by Italian designer Alessandro Elli. The collection includes a range of modular elements with different functions and sizes: fixed armchairs, two/three-seater sofas and chaise longues with right or left side allow for a highly customized upholstery item in terms of sizes, covers, colors and accessories. Halfway between retro style and modern trend, Vivien is characterized by a design evocative of the 1950s, marked by soft, welcoming volumes. Modernized in a contemporary key, the Fifties spirit shines through in the particular rounded shape of the low backrest, which turns into an armrest at one end to embrace the long one-piece seat with its single cushion. The balance of the proportions is matched by a special formal research, emphasized by a selection of fabric, leather and faux-leather upholstery of considerable value and aesthetic interest. A top component of the living area, when needed Vivien becomes a comfortable bed with a 200 cm long h.14 mattress. The sofa is transformed by means of a flap opening system that allows the backrest to rotate without removing the cushions. Safe and easy to use, the patented Lampolet mechanism is a guarantee of strength, durability and reliability. Proposed in versions with metal or slatted base, the resting surface is compatible with latex, polyurethane and independent spring mattresses from the collection. Manufactured by Milano Bedding.
