Knitters call them neatly coiled balls of yarn, kids talk about soap bubbles hanging from lightbulbs, some say they are there to light up Arabian nights, Moooi says they’re Non Random Lights. Unlike the randomness of the diffuser “skin” associated with its Random Light predecessor, the designer sought to standardize the woven appearance of this light’s diffuser form – essentially rendering it now as Non-Random. Like its Random cousin, the Non-Random Light is constructed in fiberglass soaked in epoxy resin – here it sports a powder-coated aluminum cap and shiny anodized aluminum reflector. Available with a choice of size and color. Manufactured by Moooi.
