Gruuve is a new modular sectional seating system that features a curved, sensuous profile from which forms seemingly sweep back and upward to create both the seating expanse and backrest. For Gruuve's aesthetics, Urquiola channeled 1970s seating design with its non-conformist sentiments that a sofa can be assembled at will rather than being a fixed object. With the fluid profiles of its elements, the Gruuve Collection imbues an interior with a sense of dynamism and unexpected flexibility. Gruuve's form allows the sitter to use the "traditional" seating expanse or, when approached from the backside, impromptu seating using the backrest. Gruuve is available in a wide array of Moroso's upholstery options; it is also available in a proprietary, custom-printed fabric with graphics designed by Patricia Urquiola. Manufactured by Moroso.
