Urquiola's series of Phoenix coffee tables feature metal and wood bases and surfaces in fabulously enigmatic shapes. Most versions are available in different heights allowing the user to overlap the surfaces. Surfaces are available in several materials. Whether used singly or as part of a group, Phoenix provides an infinitely usable surface area and an eye-catching, unexpected form. When used in tandem, the surfaces are like two-dimensional projections of organic forms, each seemingly sliding over each other.
