Arad's Victoria and Albert sofas are a continuous flow of curving lines that are squashed, reworked, and underscored by an irony that exists well outside the typical approach to industrial design. The volumes of the forms are just extraordinary - the upholstery seemingly reaches out into the space around it both magnifying and reinforcing the materiality of the form without interrupting or overpowering the fluidity of its form. Noted here is the asymmetrical version of the sofa that is available with a choice or flaring right side or flaring left side. Manufactured by Moroso.
