Donna Costanza is a modular rug for exterior and interior environments with handmade decoration. The embroidery is executed with a one or two-color flat braid in Rope yarn on 50x50 cm modules which form the backing of the rug. Once embroidered, the modules are sewn by hand with a ribbon in Rope yarn in the same color of the backing to create the surface of the rug. Each of the modules composing the Donna Costanza rug are different from each other. Due to the materials and the production technique, Paola Lenti advises against the use of the Donna Costanza rug in high traffic areas. Up to a maximum of four colors can be chosen.
