Donna Florio is a modular rug for exterior and interior environments with handmade decoration. The embroidery is executed with a one or two-color flat braid in Rope yarn on 50x50 cm modules which form the backing of the rug. Once embroidered, the modules are sewn by hand with a ribbon in Rope yarn in the same color of the backing to create the surface of the rug. The Donna Florio rug is decorated with two designs, one for the central part of the rug and one for the frame. Up to a maximum of three colors can be chosen. Due to the materials and the production technique, Paola Lenti advises against the use of the Donna Florio rug in high traffic areas. Up to a maximum of four colors can be chosen.
