The Ladybird rug for exterior and interior environments is completely handmade. The surface of the rug consists of elements produced with mono or bi-color cords in rope yarn. The cords are then shaped by hand to reproduce abstracted plants and animals. These individual elements are then sewn together to form a large composition. Due to the materials and the production technique, Paola Lenti advises against the use of the Ladybird rug in high traffic areas. The Ladybird rug would also be ideal as wall decoration.
