The Nesso dining table is part of a series of dining tables available in different shapes and sizes. The table base has molded aluminum joints and profiles in matte varnished extruded aluminum. The table top is composed of Luce - lava stone that is glazed by means of handcraft techniques whereby the color remains transparent and luminous allowing the porosity and the imperfections of the surfaces show through. This handmade surface can feature thickness differences, little marks, striping, little variations of color tone and solidity. These characteristics are linked to the very nature of the materials and are considered embraceable qualities that allow each top in Luce to become distinct and different from any other. The Nesso dining table can also be used in interior environments. A Winter Set protection cover is available for additional charge. Manufactured by Paola Lenti.

Francesco Rota (born 1966 in Milan, Italy) graduated from Peliz, Switzerland’s Art Center College of Design in 1994 and founded the Francesco Rota Design Office the following year. He began working with companies both in Italy and abroad, creating interior design for well-known firms such as L’Oreal and Oluce, as well as spatial design for Daimler Chrysler/Mercedes Benz and Nestle. Rota has also designed for brands such as Bals Tokyo, Martini & Rossi, and Paola. Over his career, Francesco Rota has received multiple honors, including the International Audi Design Award “Life in Motion” first prize as well as honorable mentions at the 19° Premio Compasso D'Oro 2001 and the 20° Premio Compasso D'Oro 2004.
