The Pond rug for exterior and interior environments is completely handmade. The surface of the rug consists of elements produced with one- or two-color cords in Rope yarn. The cords are shaped by hand to reproduce plants and animals. The elements are then sewn together to form a large decorating panel. The textile structure of this rug is free. An intense stepping may cause a variation of the rug’s dimension. Due to the materials and the production technique, Paola Lenti advises against the use of the Pond rug in high traffic areas.
