Shang is an indoor rug produced by hand with a round wool cord in solid or mélange colors. The rug is entirely shaped by hand and then machine sewn with a highly resistant thread matching the color of the cord. The Shang natural rug is available in three versions. The first one features multiple round decorated modules sewn together to create alternate geometric sequences. The second rug consists of one round decorated module. The third version consists of one pentagonal shaped decorated module. Due to the materials and the production technique, Paola Lenti advises against the use of the Shang rug in high traffic areas.
