The Week-End Collection is a full range of outdoor furniture. While slatted aluminum seating and surfaces for outdoor use have existed in various forms for decades, the designers, Pierre Brichet and Caroline Ziegler, have re-imagined these in a fabulously engaging way. Slats are organized both vertically and horizontally within the same piece infusing the resulting form with an unexpected levity. The horizontally-oriented slats forming the upper portion of the backrest are objectified within an ellipse-shaped perimeter. Noted here is the Week-End bench – it’s constructed of aluminum, grained epoxy matte finish paint, and an anti-UV coating. Available in several colors. Manufactured by Petite Friture.
