Jean-Marie Massaud's Isidoro is an elegant bar cabinet on wheels that opens like a book; its external handle and click-to-close mechanism akin to a valise. A luxurious piece composed of saddle leather, canvas, chromed steel, and wood, Isidoro is meticulously fabricated to include interior details like glass and bottle holders, drawers, doors, and even a shelf that unfolds to become a practical work surface. The structure of the Isidoro mobile bar is made of poplar plywood paneling. Its exterior upholstery is available in a range of saddle leather options; its interior "walls" are lined in canvas. Beautifully grained Canaletto walnut interior fittings create a remarkable synergy with with the interior and exterior upholstery. The feet have caps for the stationary part of Isidoro; the part that opens has swivel castors. A pair of click-to-close mechanisms with combination ensures the perfect closure of the cabinet.
