The Japanese designer, Kensaku Oshiro, has designed the Lepli dining chair. For this collection, the designer has drawn inspiration from traditional Poltrona Frau production processes and decorations, combining them with tailoring ideas from the fashion world. Classic stitching and soft folds enhance the sinuous minimalism of the design. The voluptuous curves of the dining chair are inspired by the female body shape, as if it were a dress, with slender belt highlighting her waist. The structure of the Leplì padded chair comes with birch and poplar plywood, with kraft cardboard padding. The backrest structure is made of Polimex® and poplar plywood. The padding is made of polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The Leplì design chair comes in various combinations of leather and fabric. The base can be fixed, made of MDF painted black and scratch-resistant; rotatable, with 'return' mechanism that allows a 360° rotation with return to the initial position; and with wheels, with 5 pivoting wheels inserted inside the base.
