Designed by: Lella and Massimo Vignelli
Manufactured by: Poltrona Frau
The Mesa dining table is a sculpted, almost primitive table. An icon of formal purity designed in 1985 by Lella and Massimo Vignelli. The Mesa table combines the two simple geometric shapes of a circle and a cone. The overall effect is a physical monolith which is solid, compact and light at the same time. The top is made from Ligurian slate which retains the rock’s natural grooves and lines on the surface. The column base is a “truncated cone” made from grey Pietra Serena stone. Manufactured by Poltrona Frau.
