Cirio (candle in Spanish) is a family of pendant lamps designed by Antoni Arola, a system of versatile structures with a range of light points. Each of these points forms a cylinder that houses an LED core. The shades are in hand-crafted porcelain, made in Sargadelos, Galicia, translucent opal glass or opaque brass. Cirio Cascada is the latest member of the family. It allows light points to be hung at different heights from a variety of rectangular or circular canopies. Just imagine a huge hall: the simple beauty of the beige, white or gold candles and, in the shadowy backdrop, the understated black structure from which they hang; a solemn cascade of light shimmering down from the ceiling. The lampshade options are white porcelain, polished brass and white opal glass. Manufactured by Santa & Cole.
