Grand in scale and dramatic in its detailing, the Arak chandelier features four individually hand-formed, translucent porcelain diffusers with four standard decorative options - graphics, textured, patches, and naked. Each diffuser is supported by a machined-bent aluminum arm; each arm is mounted to a cast and machined bronze hub, which is suspended at a variable, adjustable length from ceiling via custom machined hook/loop/downrod assembly. Lamping is high output, high efficiency 2700K linear LED. LED driver is accommodated within hub and is triac dimmable with an approved dimmer switch. Additional custom options for the graphic pattern on each diffuser are available. The Arak series of lighting is a collaboration between Skram's lead designer, A. Jacob Marks, and North Carolina artist, Mimi Logothetis, whose innovations in porcelain are a focus of the resulting aesthetics associated with this series. Manufactured by Skram.

Founded in 2001, Skram Furniture is based in North Carolina and is known for its beautifully-crafted furniture and lighting designs that combine natural materials – wood, metals, leather, cork, and stone – to create innovative, modern forms. Jacob Marks, is distinguished for his organic, hand-shaped seating and spare, rectilinear casegoods and tables – unique in their negotiation of proportion, line, and visual weight.
