Inspired by the dynamic shapes of exploding fireworks and reminiscent of abstracted trees, the Bang Series rides the line between timeless minimalism and playful whimsy. With its canted "branches" and enigmatic form, the Big Bang floor lamp stands at an impressive 9 feet in height and is offered in several different woods - sustainably sourced maple or walnut, ebonized oak, as well as reclaimed southern yellow pine or reclaimed water tower redwood. The lamp's metal hardware in the center provides remarkable visual punctuation within the form and an engaging juxtaposition with the wood. Metal hardware is available in powder coated finishes of white, slate gray or matte black; also available in hand blackened steel, as well as nickel or brass in brushed or polished finishes. The combination of available woods with metal finishes allows for a wide range of resulting aesthetics. The lamp is supplied with an eight foot cord that organically cascades from the lamp's center as a fabulous foil to the rigidity of the wood. Equipped with soft-touch, three-stage dimmer along with a detachable adapter. Small metal feet are optional but are included with the lamp for projects that require UL listing. UL listed.
