Fat, Tom Dixon’s new upholstered chair range, is designed to hug the body while allowing multiple positions for the sitter. Available as a dining chair, bar stool, and lounge chair (noted here), the extreme simplicity of Fat’s components is a testament to the sentiment that form follows function, while engendering a humorous silhouette and a reductionist aesthetic. The Fat Lounge Chair is composed of molded foam with a metal frame in high gloss black lacquer – available in several textile options. The entire Fat Series is hand-finished and upholstered by experienced craftsmen. Manufactured by Tom Dixon.
