Working with its German engineering partners, Tom Dixon designed his own special recipe for an opalescent diffuser – this orb is fabulously engaging and figures prominently in several new lighting designs that comprise the Opal Collection. Rather than the expected light bulb dangling within the orb, Dixon has replaced the bulb with a new LED disc – the resulting aesthetics are extraordinary. The archetypical silhouette of the Opal Wall Light allows for use in the most minimal of settings. The light’s strong composition of shatter-proof polymer makes it indestructible in contract use and its soft glow makes it desirable addition in residential interiors. Manufactured by Tom Dixon.
