Inspired by the shape of vacuum flasks in finishes that visually allude to Olympic medals, the Void Pendant Light is composed of solid sheets of brass, stainless, or copper that have been pressed and brazed to create a curved, complex double-walled shade. The resulting form has a hollow interior – quite literally, a “void.” Each Void Pendant Light is hand polished to a mirror finish and a clear coat of lacquer is applied to prevent any oxidation to the metal’s surface. A small but powerful halogen bulb deep inside the lamp creates a soft but directional beam. Manufactured by Tom Dixon.
