Designed by: Achille Castiglioni
Manufactured by: Zanotta
Designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1965 (production beginning in 1980), the Allunaggio stool means “moon landing" in Italian and its form connotes the Apollo lunar landing modules of the 1960s. Its enigmatic, sculptural form was designed for use outside providing a minimal footprint on a lawn; similarly its grass green enamel color was selected to blend into the landscape. Allunaggio features a composition of steel legs, aluminum alloy seat, and natural polyethylene feet. Manufactured by Zanotta.
