Calamo is both a console table and a desk. It features varnished steel frame and top in several finishes as well as an integrated storage compartment in hide leather located to the right underside of the top. This concealed storage is actually accessed through a panel in the top - its decorative perforation is perfect for inserting a finger and lifting the panel. Calamo's slender profile allows its use in a number of interior applications. Its narrow top can be used as an impromptu desk surface with a tablet or laptop. The storage compartment is great for storing a range of objects like keys, cell phone, charger, etc. The negative space on the underside makes it ideal for pairing with a chair - permanently or as needed.
