Designed by: Carlo Mollino
Manufactured by: Zanotta
With its beautifully curved and canted wood frame, the Gilda lounge chair is an archetypal example of Carlo Mollino's seating designs in the 1950s. Gilda features an oak or walnut-dyed ash wood frame with bronze brass hardware that seemingly punctuates the frame. This clever design allows the user to select from four available sitting positions. Gilda's internal structure features steel spring suspension with polyurethane upholstery coupled with heat-bound polyester fiber. Removable upholstery covers are available in a wide range of textile or leather options. Manufactured by Zanotta.
