A playful geometry and graphic elegance defines the Toto coffee table. Designed by Bertrand Lejoly as an homage to the joyful aesthetics associated with the Memphis design movement of the early 1980s, Toto's form is an assemblage of materials and forms. Its base is composed of tubular steel that has been punctuated with a wider cylindrical foot in beech wood that has been painted black. Its top is sheet steel that has been wrapped in cowhide leather. Tops are also available in white Carrara or Verdi Alpi marble - when either of these marble tops is specified, the beech wood cylindrical foot is finished in matching glossy white or glossy green. This resulting pastiche of materials and finishes of elements within Toto's overall form provide tremendous visual interest. Manufactured by Zanotta.
