Massimilano (Max) Alajmo (born 1974) and Raffaele (Raf) Alajmo (born 1968) are brothers that were born in Padua, Italy, were both involved with the much celebrated Le Calandre restaurant.  Max took over the kitchen in 1994.  Le Calandre received three Michelin stars in 2002 making Max the youngest chef to have ever received such prestigious recognition.  Raf began his career as Le Calandre's sommelier taking over the management of the restaurant the same year that Max became its chef. Today Raf is the CEO of the Alajmo Group.
