Massimo Morozzi (1941 - 2014) was born in Florence, Italy, and studied architecture in Florence. In 1968, he co-founded the radical design firm Archizoom Associati along with Andrea Branzi, Gilberto Corretti, and Paolo Deganello. He has worked with major brands like Alessi, Cassina, Driade, Edra, Fiam Italia, Giorgetti, Ideal Standard, Mazzei, and Tendentse. Morozzi was the art director for Italian manufacturer Edra when it was founded in 1987. His designs are included in the permanent collections of several museums including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the Musée des Arts Decoratives, Paris.
