Philippe Malouin (born 1982 in Montreal, Canada) graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, after studying at the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in Paris and the University of Montreal. In 2008, he opened his studio in London, focusing on the design of sofas, tables, carpets, chairs, lights, and objects; in the meantime he also taught at the Royal College of Art in London. His creations are represented by Salon 94 in New York and Breeder Gallery in Athens. In 2018, he was named "designer of the year" by the magazine Wallpaper* and also appointed President of the jury of the "Design Parade" of Villa Noaille in France.
