Émilie Cathelineau (born 1980 in France) graduated in 2003 from the Ecole Pivaut Supérieure Technique Privée d'arts appliqués in Nantes, France. In the same year, she became part of CVL as a designer helping the manufacturer create its design studio. Her objective was to develop the existing classic range which was known for its quality and various finishes. As an expert in lighting, she also oversees the development of products with other designers creating work for CVL. Cathelineau has created over ten collections for CVL.
